Diabelli's Melodic Exercises, Op. 149 have lasted for almost 200 years, and they are still very popular among today's pupils, teachers, and music lovers. This volume also contains a few newly composed pieces inspired by Diabelli's idea to make music with five fingers as varied as possible.
